KOGHT was founded on a singular conviction: that the finest clothing does not announce itself. It is present in weight, in drape, in the quiet certainty of a perfect cut. Born in London, made in England, worn without explanation.
We are a small house. We produce in limited numbers. Each season brings fewer than two hundred pieces in any single style — not as a marketing device, but because we believe that proper things take time, and time cannot be scaled.
Our palate is deliberate. Black, in every weight and texture the cloth allows. We do not chase colour. We do not follow seasons. We make things that last — in construction, in relevance, in the way they wear over years of use.

Every stitch.
Every KOGHT garment is produced by hand in England, in workshops where the craft of tailoring has been practised for generations. We work with fewer than six makers — chosen not for speed or volume, but for their refusal to compromise.
Our overcoats require eleven days to complete. A single seam may be unpicked and restitched three times before it meets the standard required. This is not inefficiency. It is the only way we know how to make things properly.
Pattern cutting is done by hand. Linings are hand-felled. Buttonholes are worked by a maker who has been producing them for thirty-two years and refuses to use anything but a 3mm silk twist. These details are invisible when a garment is worn. They are the reason it fits the way it does.
Our relationship with each workshop is long-standing. The people who make KOGHT have been making things of consequence for decades. They understand that the work they do will outlast trends, seasons, and the brief enthusiasms of fashion.
We visit our workshops regularly. We sit with the makers. We understand the constraints of their craft, and we design within those constraints — not around them. The result is clothing that has integrity in the way it is put together, not only in the way it looks.
We do not offer a fast-turnaround service. We do not produce samples in forty-eight hours. We wait for things to be done correctly, and we believe our clients can distinguish the result.
The source
of everything.
We begin with material. Before a pattern is drawn or a cut is decided, the cloth must be right. We source from mills that have been producing exceptional cloth for over a century — in Yorkshire, in Biella, in the Pessac valley — and we do not use alternatives.
Each material is selected in person, from a swatch book, by hand. We do not order blind. We do not accept substitutions mid-season. If a cloth is unavailable, the garment waits.
Cashmere
Grade A Mongolian cashmere, spun and processed in Scotland at a mill that has worked with the same highland fibre suppliers since 1903. Softer and warmer than alternatives, with a handle that only improves over years of wear.
Wool & Tailoring Cloth
Super 150s merino from a mill in the Yorkshire Dales. Tight, balanced weave with exceptional drape. The weight we use — 380g per linear metre — is rarely found in ready-to-wear. It requires more time to work but holds a silhouette that lighter cloths cannot achieve.
Leather
Full-grain nappa from the tannery at Pescia, Tuscany. Vegetable-tanned over eight weeks in pits that have been in continuous use since the sixteenth century. Each hide differs in tone and grain; each leather jacket is therefore, in the strictest sense, unique.
Silk
Habotai silk woven in Como at 12 momme. Lighter than it appears, stronger than it feels. Cut on the bias to allow the fabric to fall with the body rather than against it. A garment built on this cloth will move differently than anything made on straight grain.
